OUT
OF HOURS
EMERGENCY CALL AFTER SURGERY 305895
In a serious emergency an ambulance can be summoned by dialling 999. If you need
a doctor urgently after surgery has closed, telephone 305895. Out of hours cover for the practice is provided by Blackpool PCT. You may be asked to attend a primary care centre (please see our out
of hours patient information leaflet).
If you live in a flat please make sure
you give the flat number clearly when requesting a visit.
Be sure to display
a light after dark, to assist the doctor in finding your home.
DISABLED ACCESS
A number of rails and handles have been strategically placed at both surgeries to assist with access. A ramp is provided at the Newton Drive Surgery for patients who are unable to climb steps. For technical reasons we are unable to provide this facility at Yates Street.
Patients registered at both sites who are unable to use steps should make appointments for and attend Newton Drive Surgery. If you have mobility problems please inform the receptionist when making appointments. A longer appointment slot is required to give the doctor or nurse time to move to a ground floor room for your consultation. An induction loop system is in operation at both sites.
PARKING
Limited parking spaces are available at Newton Drive. Patients are reminded
not to block the driveway or block in other cars whilst visiting the surgery.
Unfortunately there are no spaces available for patients at our Yates Street surgery.
Cars are left at the owners' risk at both surgeries.
